You can check your BIOS and EC firmware version using MSI's built-in software or through the system setup menu. Choose one of the two methods below: 



 



Check via MSI Center : 



This is the easiest method and allows you to check the version directly within Windows without restarting your laptop



Step 1: Open the MSI software



Type MSI Center/MSI Center S/MSI Center M in the Windows search bar and open the application.



*If the software is not installed yet, please go to the support page of your specific product on the MSI official website to download it.



Step 2: Access System Info



Click on the System Info option located in the top or side menu of the interface.



Step 3: View the version



The BIOS Version and EC Version will be displayed directly on the screen.



 



Check via BIOS : 



Use this method if your not get into the Windows operating system.



Step 1: Power on and press the Del key



Turn on the laptop and repeatedly press the Delete key as soon as the MSI logo appears.



Step 2: Navigate to the Main menu



Once inside the BIOS screen, use the arrow keys to select the Main tab.



Step 3: Enter System Information



Use the arrow keys to select System Information and press Enter.



Step 4: Locate the version



Find the BIOS Version and EC Firmware Version details listed on the screen.
